Buttons, antique lace and fabric, silk cotton, and repurposed garment. Needlepoint canvas and wood base, manufactured felt backing and elastic. Hand crochet, embroidery, and most stitching.

Millmaids was inspired by the almost 50% female workers at the Vicksburg Michigan Paper Mill in 1904. In 2019 I was a resident artist at Prairie Ronde in Vicksburg where I worked on projects related to many of the employees (hands) at the mill over its history.
