Artwork > Wall Work

Recently I have been constructing a sculptural series to thank the many curators and artists who have contributed to advancing my art career, the threads of my life. Those chosen to be recognized are all people who have reached out to me without receiving any application or contact from me.
The idea for this project came to me when Anne Kempton, of Timeless Textiles Gallery, invited me to create an artwork for “Ain’t the Archies” in Australia. Since then I have identified memories of more than 60 people to be named in the installation, “Hands Up”, which appears under sculpture in my website.
This helper doesn’t want identity recognition, but he certainly deserves it. Hands up.
